Conventions in depth
This is the plainest defence to the opponents’ 1NT. Overcall a good six-card (or strong five-card) suit at the two level with about 10 points or more, double for penalty with a balanced hand as strong as the opener, and otherwise pass. Nothing artificial: you bid what you hold.
